Aseania Resort Langkawi ★★★★

The staff was amazingly helpful. We stayed there for 1 night, which was our last day in langkawi in that 7-day-trip. They secured our luggage in the morning before checking in, and they suggested to leave our luggage there for the next day so we won't have to carry them. The plane was leaving midnight so after a full day trip, we came back to the hotel for our luggage in the evening. We could use the hotel's public bathroom for shower and they even offered us towels. They were really nice, thank them for it!

The room was not that fancy as we tought, and we didn't have a balcony and the window did not open to the pool, although the room discreption said it. The room had a little strange smell at the beginning but that is because of the humidity, which people cannot do anything with in the island, so no wonder.

Everything nasty old smelly humidity smells in room fake pictures of nice rooms and pool to attract people and the worst is the noisy guests in the late night in the hallways you can not sleep this hotel is more than disgusting and a big lie to customers Avoid!!!!!

Property was quite old. Room furniture and walls were also not renovated. Air conditioning was just ok. Breakfast was poor. Also the walk to beach is mentioned as 5 mins but it takes at least 12 to 15 minutes to reach the beach.

The location is nice. Very near to the Cenang street .

The room draining system sucks. After one person shower and the floor will flooded with water and many ants inside the room.

The rooms are comfortable, swimming pool very nice. The food also nice

I don't like the service rendered by the staff. I've booked 3 persons in a room. They shd provide enough towels and soaps but only provide for 2 persons. After tidy room, never give towels. Need to call housekeeping for towel. Wanted to order for room service food delivery. When I called the restaurant, the staff put be on hold for nearly 20 minutes. When I called again, the line engaged. Then I called, operator, the front desk but nobody answered the damn phone. I need to walk down to the reception to ask what happened. Instead of assisting me to place my order, they asked me to walk down to restaurant and place my order. Bcoz my children are hungry and waiting for food, I've no choice but to go to restaurant & place order. In restaurant, the staff was rude when I asked why left me holding the phone for so long. She said we got so many customers so can't entertain me over the phone. Not enough staff. Is this my problem? Am I not important as a customer? I'm really dissatisfied. This hotel got the ability to be the best hotel & 7 star bcoz of it's facilities & location. But the staff need to be well trained. I can see the staff are not professional. I've been to other hotels, we now how the staff serve you. Can differentiate between professionals & untrained staff. The staff in the restaurant not friendly at all. Not even a smile.

when we stayed here in room 8113 (connecting room) there's a young group (i thought) that i am not sure from which country (sound like from Arab) stay in room 8114, was very so super noisy..! i had a 3 years old child and lucky my baby not awake..i called reception but no one pick up..the time is about 3am 5th sept early morning..where is your security?? why they didn't do rounding whole hotel? me n my family felt unsecured on that night..! and upon check in, we not seeing your security..

Location was near the main shopping area. Swimming pool was nice for the children.

The resort was a little run down and in need of renovation. The coffee served during breakfast was diluted and the spread needs improvement.

This is a historic hotel in Langkawi. It's very big! There are many small restaurants nearby. An affordable laundry shop is nearby as well. There is a mega mall / restaurant complex under construction, across the street. The breakfast buffet is delicious! Enjoy!

Parts of the hotel - interior and exterior - were being renovated (which is good!). The rooms are a bit out dated, so refreshing all the rooms would be a good improvement. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much!

The room have some old room smell. Suggest to hotel staff; before guest check in spray some air fragrance.

The room that I get on the ground floor was super excellent. My room was facing the pool with direct access to it. My family love it very much.

The breakfast buffet could have more varieties. The rooms not exactly soundproof. I could hear people walking or pushing trolleys along the corridor at all times.
